4 men wanted for stealing $6400 in goods in home invasion

A group of armed robbers really wanted to get into a certain house. They ended up holding the owner at gunpoint and stealing $6400 in goods, but surveillance video was recording inside and out -- and Philadelphia police hope it'll help catch the robbers.

They say it happened back on May 3, in the middle of the day, in the 100 block of E. Duncannon Street.

Police report the gunmen were seen casing the victim's home, taking turns walking in front, and waiting for the man who lives there to leave.

At one point, they drove around the back of the home in a 2004-2009 Nissan Quest minivan.

A short time later, two of them were seen trying to get in through the back, but they couldn't.

Then, they went to the front but the burglar alarm scared them off.

Eventually, police say they returned and forced the front door open. Video from inside shows two of the four armed with handguns.

While inside, a lookout stays in contact with the intruders by cell phone.

Suddenly, the victim returns and the robbers try to get out through the basement but instead, they turned back and confronted him, pointing a handgun at him while leaving through the front.

The robbers got away and the victim ran to a neighbor's porch.

Police say he later reported a gold chain, charm, laptop computer, handbag, and various designer clothing and belts worth $6400 had been stolen.

No shots were fired and he wasn't injured.

The four suspects were all described as men in their early to mid 20s.

The first suspect had a medium complexion, medium build, a light beard with a mustache, and he was wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, and dark-colored pants.

The second had a dark complexion, a light beard or goatee, and he was wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt with "Front Street" on the back, and dark-colored pants.

The third had a stocky build, heavy beard, and he was wearing a light gray hooded sweatshirt and dark-colored pants.
