5-year-old girl struck in hit-and-run

A 5-year-old girl was struck by an SUV in South Philadelphia Sunday evening with the driver fleeing the scene.

The incident occurred on the 2200 block of Lambert Street around 4:55 p.m.

A 5-year-old black female was struck by a light-colored Jeep with a Pennsylvania tag. The driver fled the scene.

The victim suffered abrasions and possible head trauma and was transported to Temple Hospital by RPC 2213.

She is in stable condition.

No arrests have been made.
