STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Police in Henry County have successfully located an infant boy who was abducted from outside a pediatrician's office Monday afternoon.
Officials said that 1-year-old Bryson M. Gilchrist was taken from his mother outside of a Stockbridge pediatrician by his father, 20-year-old Mika Gilchrist.
After an Amber Alert was issued, Police found Bryson safe. The Georgia State Patrol eventually arrested Mika Gilchrist in DeKalb County.
Investigators believed that they were possibly heading to Suffolk, Virginia in a black 2019 Toyota Corolla LE with the North Carolina tag FFX4549.
Police told FOX 5 Gilchrist will be taken to Henry County to face kidnapping charges, among others.
