An eerie good time was had by folks at Franklin Fright Weekend at The Franklin Institute

Young witches and warlocks, ghosts and goblins were treated to a spooktacular good time at the Franklin Institute's Franklin Fright Weekend.

Visitors were encouraged to come in costume and enjoy making "bloody" handprints on color-changing paper, a walk through the haunted Giant Heart, getting up-close and personal with creepy crawling bugs from The Insectarium, creating slime and LED trick-or-treat pins, glow-in-the-dark blacklight karaoke, discovering the science of fear in the brain and touring a "Witches Kitchen," among many other displays and activities.

All of the activities were designed as a new way to view Halloween through the prism of science.
