Someone picked up my lunch and left a note - this person has no idea how much this means to me. Made my day, made my week, made my month. Thank you!! So very proud to serve. #bluelivesmatter
Colorado-(FOX NEWS)-An anonymous family made a Colorado sheriff's week when they paid his tab at a local diner.
Elbert County Sheriff Shayne Heap was on "Fox and Friends" this morning, where he recalled how someone paid for his meal at Catalina's.
I've got your #6 - #BlueLivesMatter," someone wrote on the receipt.
Heap wrote on Facebook that the person who paid for his meal has no idea what that means to him.
"Made my day, made my week, made my month," he wrote.
Heap said on "Fox and Friends" that the community is speaking out in support of police, even though he said that the nation hasn't heard much from President Barack Obama about violence against cops.
"I think that law enforcement across the board will say that, you know, they don't expect anybody to step into the arena with us, but we do expect that you don't cheer for the other team," he said. Watch the latest video at video.foxnews.com
