Arrest Made in 2006 NJ Murder Case

An arrest has been in a South Jersey murder from 2006. Woodbury Township authorities have announced an arrest in the murder of Juan Cuevas, the owner of a Germantown auto parts store, in January of 2006.

John Blocker has been arrested in the case, in which Cuevas arrived home to find his children tied up, at which point four masked strangers beat, robbed and killed Cuevas.

"We really had faith that somebody was going to come out, and somebody was going to get arrested," Elizabeth Cuevas, the victim's sister, said. "We didn't know when, but we held onto it. It brought a lot of pain on a daily basis."

The case remains open as police continue to search for Blocker's accomplices.
