Arrest Made in Jessica Prusik Murder Case

An arrest has been made in the murder of Jessica Prusik in Mercer County earlier this month.

Tyron D. Lindsay of Hamilton was arrested Tuesday night and has been charged with first-degree murder. Acting Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri and Hamilton Police Chief James W. Collins announced Wednesday.

The body of Prusik, 38, was found in a weeded area in Roebling Park on October 6, and her death was later ruled a homicide caused by manual strangulation.

The investigation determined that Lindsay was the last known person with Prusik, and when he was arrested Lindsay was in position of Prusik's bank cards when he was arrested earlier this month on unrelated warrants.

Bail was set at $1 million cash or bond by a Mercer County Superior Court judge.
