Atlanta woman celebrates 106th birthday

ATLANTA - An Atlanta woman is celebrating a very special milestone on Wednesday - her 106th birthday!

Miss Leila Williams will receive a proclamation from the City of Atlanta in honor of her special birthday.

Williams is a resident of Glenwood Health and Rehabilitation Center in Decatur, where she's lived for many years. She still attends her local church, Cosmopolitan AME Church.

Miss Williams will be honored at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Fulton County Government Center. She'll be joined by her goddaughter, Charlotte Riley-Webb.
