Benicia officers make department history

BENICIA, Calif. (KTVU) - History was made this week. The Benicia Police Department announced that for the first time in their history, a patrol team is staffed entirely of woman police officers.

The department posted the following to their Facebook page, "Like all the officers, our female officers, play a vital role in providing public safety to this great community."
