Bicyclist struck and killed by SEPTA bus
NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - A bicyclist is dead after Philadelphia police say he cut in front of a SEPTA bus and was hit.
They say it happened at about 12:10pm Tuesday on Orthodox Street at Aramingo Avenue.
Authorities said the bus on Route J was heading eastbound on Orthodox Street. Police say that's when "the bicyclist cut in front of the bus, causing the bus to strike the bicyclist."
The driver stopped. The bicyclist was taken to the hospital and died. No name has been released.
