Body of 57-year-old man found in Montgomery County creek

HUNTINGDON VALLEY, Pa. (WTXF) - On Saturday morning, a dead body was discovered floating in a Montgomery County creek by authorities.

Abington police responded to the incident around 10 a.m. at Pennypack Creek inside Lorimer Park.

The deceased was identified as a 57-year-old man from Willow Grove.

According to police, early indications reveal that the male may have accidentally fallen from a 50-foot cliff, which overlooks the creek.

The incident is being investigated by the Montgomery County Coroner's Office and Abington police.
