Boy, 4, dies after falling swimming pool

PENNSVILLE (WTXF) - The frantic search for a missing child in Pennsville came to a heartbreaking end Sunday.

The four-year-old boy was eventually discovered floating in the family's swimming pool.

It happened at a home on South Broadway around 5:15 Sunday night.

Police say officers tried performing CPR, but it was too late.

The boy's parents had thought he was playing upstairs with his siblings when they noticed he was missing.

Officers believe the child drowned after falling in the pool.
