NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - A young boy was rushed to the hospital after police say he was attacked by two pit bulls in North Philadelphia Tuesday.
Police responded to the 2900 block around 4:45 p.m. Tuesday and found an eight-year-old boy suffering from bite wounds.
The child suffered an extensive number of bit wounds to his face, legs, arms, and feet. Officers attempted to stop the bleeding and rushed the boy to St. Christopher's Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
The two dogs, who police have described as pit bulls, were contained in a bedroom of the home before they were taken in by Animal Care and Control (ACCT).
