WESTAMPTON TWP, NJ (WTXF) - The Burlington County law enforcement community and the general public gathered together for the annual Burlington County Fallen Officers Memorial Service at the Burlington County Public Safety Center in Westampton yesterday morning.
The Burlington County Police Chiefs' Association, along with the Mount Holly and Westampton Police Departments, joined local officers and first responders to remember their fallen brothers and sisters, and recognize the sacrifice and service of officers and volunteers who died in the line of duty.
Burlington County Prosecutor, Robert Bernardi, and President of the Burlington County Police Chiefs' Association, Chief Dave Jantas, spoke upon the behalf of the law enforcement community, and Mayor Glen Szenzenstein of the New Jersey State Police provided the key note remarks on this day of solemn remembrance.
All were welcome and greatly encouraged to come out and honor the lives of the fallen officers, and the tribute brought the law enforcement and local community together.
