Burlington County landfill worker charged with theft

BURLINGTON (WTXF) - Burlington County officials have charged a landfill employee with theft after he allegedly overcharged customer's waste deposits and pocketed the extra money.

Authorities have charged Craig Schoenberger, 47, with theft by unlawful taking, which is a third degree offense.

Per reports, Schoenberger worked as a weighmaster at Burlington County Landfill, and improperly documented the weight of customer's deposits, which resulted in the overcharges.

Schoenberger is accused of stealing over $650.

Schoenberger awaits trial by a Burlington Grand Jury, and could face indictment.
