Burlington gas leak contained; crews continue to work

Crews responded to a large gas leak in Burlington, New Jersey. Extra manpower was called in to fix a gas leak that forced the evacuation of up to 15 houses, including Kathy Cabrera's.

"I'd really like to go in there and get my car or something. I can't walk he streets," she told FOX 29.

Emergency management coordinators say crews responded around midday after reports of fumes in the area.

Officials say a 20-inch gas main broke at Salem and Mill Roads-right on the Burlington City and Burlington Township Line.

The leak has been contained but teams continue to work.
