Caught on Camera: Vandals target PPA signs and kiosks
PHILADELPHIA (FOX 29) - Police say they are searching for vandals caught on camera spray painting PPA signs and kiosks.
Newly released security camera footage from Philadelphia police shows two separate incidents of vandalism.
In one, a man gets out of his car around 3:30 a.m. on the morning of Feb. 10. The video shows him spray painting a street parking kiosk sign.
Police say he then spray paints into the kiosk mechanism itself. Shortly after, the same man vandalizes a sign and kiosk just down the block, according to police.
According to police, on Feb. 23 around 6:15 am, two younger-looking men vandalized PPA signs and kiosks on the 3 and 400 blocks of Bainbridge, the 600 block of East Passyunk and the 200 block of South Street.
The motives for the vandalism are not clear.
