Cherry Hill celebrates Israel's 70 years of independence

Folks in Cherry Hill came together to honor and celebrate Israel's 70 years of independence.

On Sunday, April 22, the Katz Jewish Community Center held a community parade stretching from Cherry Hill High School to the community center. Several hundred participants gathered for the parade.

After the parade, folks were treated to a likeness of Jerusalem's Ben Yehuda Street and Machane Yehuda Market. Forty shops were on hand featuring something for everyone with vendors, food tastings, cafes and activities for all ages.

Also included in the day's festivities were a children's choir and street performances with singers, musicians, jugglers, magicians and dancers.
