Circus Performer Injured in Fall Released from Hospital

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) Chenglong Wu, the performer with the Wuhan Flying Trapeze act of China, who was injured in a fall was released from the hospital Monday.

Wu was injured during a performance of UniverSoul Circus in Philadelphia on Saturday. Doctors expect Chenglong to make a full recovery.

Circus officials are looking into the incident.

UniverSoul Circus is playing Philadelphia next to the Mann Center for the Performing Arts in Fairmount Park, thru Sunday, Nov. 15. Ticketing and show information are available via Ticketmaster and at the UniverSoul Circus Box Office.
