City of Philadelphia & Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Launch the Papal Visit Playbook

Philadelphia, PA (August 20, 2015) - As the City of Philadelphia prepares to host the 2015 World Meeting of Families and Pope Francis in September, the World Meeting of Families - Philadelphia 2015 (WMOF), with the City of Philadelphia and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, today announced that the Papal Visit Playbook, a comprehensive online guide for residents across the region to assist in planning for the weekend of September 26-27, will be available to the public on Monday, August 24 at 12 p.m. EST. It will be available at http://www.worldmeeting2015.org/papalplaybook/ .

This special resource provides residents with a wide-ranging overview of information related to the World Meeting of Families Congress (September 22 - 25) and Papal Visit (September 26-27). This information includes a complete outline of the event itself, recommendations on how residents can participate, transportation options, special events available to residents in advance of Pope Francis' arrival, emergency notification information, pet care considerations, city service information and additional resources to support residents.
