Correctional Officer Stabbed at Northeast Philadelphia Prison

Police say a correctional officer was stabbed at the Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility in the city's Holmesburg section Wednesday night.

FOX 29 is told an inmate stabbed the 25-year-old man several times with a makeshift nail. The correctional officer was transported to Aria Torresdale Hospital where he's listed in stable condition. The inmate is in custody.
