Couple uses split photos on Instagram to cope with long distance relationship

A couple from Seoul, South Korea has created a unique way of staying connected after one of them moved across the globe.

Danbi Shin moved to New York City where she currently attends NYU, leaving her boyfriend Seok Li behind in Seoul.

However, they aren't letting the distance get the best of them.

They have created a joint Instagram account in which they post split-view photos of everyday items they encounter in their lives.

The project is called Half&Half, and it pairs up half of an item in Seoul with half of a similar item in New York.

Their Instagram page boats 71,000 followers and their photos regularly get thousands of likes.
