Court documents detail terrifying moments 2-year-old endured before her death

After claiming her daughter disappeared from a park in College Station last Sunday, Tiaundra Kae Christon, 21, was charged with false reporting and abandoning and endangering a child. According to just released court documents, Christon also took part in beating her daughter to death.

The court documents reveal Hazana Anderson, 2, was beaten to death in a Houston hotel room on October 19. Her mother told detectives she left the little girl alone in the room while she and her 32-year-old boyfriend Kenny Hewitt went out to eat at a Taco Cabana.

When they returned, the court documents state the little girl was crying and Hewitt hit the child with a belt "causing whelps to her legs, arms, and face."

Christon told detectives Hewitt was upset and told her to discipline her child so she hit her a couple of times with a belt.

The documents go on to state Hewitt wasn't satisfied with how hard Christon was beating her 2-year-old baby so he began hitting her again with the belt.

The child began to go in and out of consciousness, the documents state, so the pair took the child's clothes off and put her in the bathtub in an attempt to revive her.

The mother told detectives when she realized her little girl was cold to the touch they used a hair dryer to attempt to warm her up, but the document states while doing so the hair dryer began burning the child's skin.

Christen reportedly told detectives she kept her baby's corpse in her vehicle back passenger side floor board for three days.

On October 23, four days after the child was beaten to death, the documents state Christon placed her baby's body in a plastic bag. Christon and Hewitt allegedly wrapped a rope around it attached a heavy rock and threw the corpse into a bayou in Texas City.

A child's body was recovered from the bayou on Halloween. The medical examiner believes it is Hazana's body, but a DNA test will be conducted to confirm the identity.

The mother and her boyfriend remain jailed.
