Cows, horses rescued from dairy farm fire in Chester County
HONEY BROOK, Pa. (FOX 29) - A number of horses and cows are safe after they were rescued from a fire at a dairy farm in Chester County overnight.
A large barn burned to the ground overnight on Bever Dam Road in Honey Brook. Fortunately, all of the barn's cows and horses were saved from the fire.
The blaze broke out just before 1 a.m.
Fifteen-year-old Steven King was among those who helped rescued the animals from his neighbor's farm. Fellow farmers with livestock trailers also arrived to help get the livestock out of harm's way.
