Philadelphia police crash en route to call injuring 2 officers, civilian driver: police

A car crash involving a Philadelphia police cruiser left three people injured Saturday night.

Police say the patrol vehicle was responding to a call with lights and sirens activated when it crashed into another vehicle on North 22nd and West Dauphin streets around 8:25 p.m.

Two Philadelphia officers, along with the driver of the civilian vehicle were transported to a local hospital.

They all reported pain, but are in stable condition, police say.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
