Crews battle two fires in North Philadelphia, no injuries reported
NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Two early morning fires kept Philadelphia firefighters busy Wednesday morning.
The first one happened on the 1600 block of North 10th Street just before 3:00 a.m.
Some of the people who live in the building were forced to evacuate.
Crews got the flames under control in about 20 minutes.
No one was hurt.
Just after 3:00 a.m. flames also broke out on the first floor of a rowhome on the 1900 block of North 5th Street.
Fire crews reported seeing heavy fire when they arrived on scene, but they were able to put the fire out quickly.
No one was hurt in that fire either.
