Crews continue to battle wildfire near Joint Base McGuire–Dix–Lakehurst

BURLINGTON COUNTY, N.J. (FOX 29) - Fire officials in Burlington County are continuing to battle a wildfire Thursday morning.

SKYFOX was over the scene of the fire in Browns Mills, New Jersey near Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst.

Officials say there have been no evacuations and no buildings are in danger. PBM Road was reopened early Thursday morning after being closed overnight.

Residents have been told to expect smoky conditions in the area.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
