Crews respond to submerged car in Cooper River in Pennsauken
PENNSAUKEN, N.J. (WTXF) - Emergency crews in South Jersey are responding to a car submerged in the water at Cooper River Park.
Authorities responded to the scene around 7 a.m. at North Park Drive and Kaighns Avenue.
SKYFOX was over the scene as rescuers in a boat held on to what appeared to be the rear hatch of a van that was submerged about 20 yards offshore.
Rescuers were also waiting in a second boat offshore.
There is no word on what may have caused the vehicle to go in the water, or if it was occupied at the time.
