Del. man gets 6 years in prison for child porn
WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) -- A Delaware man has been sentenced to six years in prison following his conviction on child pornography charges.
The Delaware Department of Justice says authorities began investigating Alexander Sokolski after they were informed that someone in the Wimington area had uploaded a pornographic image of a child. A search warrant was obtained and Sokolski was eventually arrested.
The Wilmington man pleaded guilty in June to two counts of dealing in child pornography.
Following his prison sentence, he will spend six month on work release or home confinement. He will then spend four years on probation.
Sokolski must also register as a Tier 2 sex offender.
