Del. State Troopers investigate a juvenile escape from Mowlds Cottage

WILMINGTON, Del. (WTXF) - Delaware State Police are investigating a juvenile escape from Mowlds Cottage juvenile facility.

Troopers were called to Mowlds Cottage on Faulkland Road, Saturday, about 8:45 a.m. After they arrived, they discovered 17-year-old Shamar Wright, of Wilmington, had escaped while being transferred to a different building on the property. Wright was reportedly seen on foot bolting toward Route 141.

Wright is 5'5" and about 105 pounds. Troopers say Wright deposited the clothes he was wearing on Faulkland Road at the time of his escape.
