A former middle school teacher will serve jail time after prosecutors say he engaged in sexual contact with a 15-year-old student.
William Barber, 39, will spend 1 to 2 years in prison, and faces more than 20 years of sex offender probation.
Police arrested the Garnet Valley Middle School physical education teacher last September.
He pleaded no contest to sexual assault charges.
Barber became a familiar face to many after he and his wife started a "Lemon Shot Challenge" to help their daughter and others who are battling cancer.
