Driver killed after vehicle overturns on I-295 in Camden County

LAWNSIDE, N.J. (FOX 29) - A person has died following an overnight crash on I-295 in Camden County.

The crash occurred around 1:45 a.m. Saturday.

Police say the driver was traveling southbound when the car went off the roadway, struck a guard rail and overturned. The driver was pronounced dead on the scene.

There were no passengers in the car and no other cars involved.

Police have yet to identify the deceased. The cuase of the crash remains under investigation.
