Eagles in awe of Saquon Barkley's electrifying playoff performance: 'Best player I've ever seen'

Saquon Barkley electrified The Linc on Sunday, dashing through the snow for over 200 yards and two touchdowns in the Eagles playoff win over the Rams.

Barkley, in his first season in Philadelphia, continued his near-historic season by breaking off 60+ and 70+ touchdown runs to ignite the Eagles' snowy win.

Fans at The Linc and those watching at home weren't the only ones amazed by Barkley's performance, even his Eagles' teammates couldn't contain their excitement.

In a new video shared by the Eagles on social media, fans get a behind the scenes look at the players' reactions on the sidelines after Barkley's head-turning runs.

The backstory:

PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA - JANUARY 19: Saquon Barkley #26 of the Philadelphia Eagles runs the ball for a 78-yard touchdown against the Los Angeles Rams during the fourth quarter in the NFC Divisional Playoff at Lincoln Financial Field on January 19

In what many consider to be an instant classic playoff win, the Eagles outlasted the Los Angeles Rams 28-22 in Sunday's NFC Divisional round match-up.

Barkley's first jaunt to the endzone happened before the snow started falling, as he bounded 62-yards downfield, leaving a trail of Rams in his wake.

Lightning struck again in the closing minutes of regulation with the Eagles clinging to a one score lead.

Flying through the flakes, Barkley slammed on his helmet and shouted as he dashed through the open field into the endzone to virtually seal the win for the Eagles.

On 26 carries, Barkley ran for over 200 yards and two touchdowns. He averaged nearly 8 yards per carry.

What they're saying:

The Eagles took fans behind the scenes of Barkley's performance in a new video shared on social media.

"I swear to God, you're the coldest in here, boy" wide receiver DeVonta Smith tells Barkley on the sidelines.

The :30 video begins with Barkley, huddled in a flack jacket, encouraging his Eagles teammates to "over communicate."

The clip continues with Eagles cornerback Avonte Maddox calling Barkley the "best player I've ever seen."

"I told you you were gonna break another one," Maddox implores Barkley after his second half touchdown run.

"Hey! Go finish this ****," Barkley shouts seated on the bench as the Eagles took the field for a crucial defensive stand.

What's next:

Saquon Barkley and the Eagles are licking their chops for Sunday's NFC Championship game against the Washington Commanders.

By many measures, the Commanders have one of the worst ranked rushing defenses in football, meaning Barkley could run wild again.
