Eagles defeat Chargers 26-24

The Philadelphia Eagles followed its franchise-record breaking win against the Giants with a 26-24 win against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.

The Eagles secured an early lead after a Chargers turnover lead to an Eagles touchdown with eight minutes to go in the first quarter.

Rookie kicker Jake Elliott, who scored last week's improbable 61-yard, game-winning field goal, went four for four in field goals, helping lift the Eagles to victory over the Chargers.

Before Sunday's game, the Eagles' last game in Los Angeles proper was a 31-10 win against the Raiders at Coliseum on November 8, 1992.

Next week, the Eagles play at home against the Arizona Cardinals.
