Ex-Air Force sergeant gets prison term in child porn case

MOUNT HOLLY, N.J. (AP) -- A former Air Force sergeant who once served at a base in New Jersey has been sentenced to four years in state prison for distributing child pornography.

Matthew Cavada had pleaded guilty to the charge earlier this year.

Cavada was a technical sergeant stationed at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst when he was arrested in May 2014. He lived in Pemberton Township at the time.
