Excessive heat warning issued for the area starting Thursday

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - An excessive heat warning has been issued for the area. The warning will go into effect Thursday at noon and last until Saturday, August 13 at 6 p.m.

Did you already notice it warmer and more humid? That's going to continue each day until at least Saturday.

The FOX 29 Weather Authority's predicts Saturday will be the worst day, with oppressive humidity and temperatures feeling as high as 110.

Afternoon pop-up storms will be possible through then, so be prepared.
