Exotic special needs snake stolen from busy local pet shop

EAST NORRITON, Pa. (WTXF) - Somebody stole an exotic snake from a Montgomery County pet shop and the store's owner says the Australian python desperately needs special care.

The owner sent surveillance pictures taken from inside Natural Pet in East Norriton, late Saturday afternoon.

He said the store on Dekalb Pike was busy at the time and nobody saw the snake being taken.

Also, he told FOX 29 News the snake needs special care and likely won't survive much longer.

As of Sunday afternoon, there have been no tips and the snake hasn't turned up.
