Fallen South Carolina officer laid to rest Monday
FLORENCE, SC (FOX 46 WJZY) - Family, friends and fellow officers will say their final goodbyes Monday to a Florence, South Carolina officer who was killed last week in an ambush shooting.
The funeral for Sgt. Terrence Carraway will take place at the Florence Center located at 3300 W Radio Drive in Florence. There will be a public viewing from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Sgt. Carraway was shot and killed Wednesday, October 3 by a gunman holding children hostage in a home in the Vintage Place neighborhood. Six other law enforcement officers were injured. At least two are now out of the hospital.

Florence City Council just honored Sgt. Terrence Carraway for 30 years of service. Now, the community is remembering his life, cut short.
Sgt. Carraway leaves behind a wife, Allison, and a son.
A memorial service will follow the public viewing at the Florence Center, starting at 12 p.m.
