Family rents out movie theater for screening of Mary Poppins Returns

Mary Poppins reminded us all that a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down. Now, everyone's favorite nanny is back and one little boy was so excited his family rented an entire Delco theater for the big event.

6-year-old James Marzano has been singing along to Mary Poppins tunes since the early age of 2.

Fast forward a few years and we're here at the Granite Run Mall AMC movie theater for a special James Marzano Mary Poppins Returns opening night premiere party.

"We started with a 50 seat sell out and now we have 350 people coming to share this very special moment," his mom Julie Marzano said.

James family rolled out the red carpet. They decorated the entrance with movie memorabilia--old and new --and invited everyone to come to the theater dressed in costume. James' grandmother even showed off her Mary Poppins best.

It's no surprise James snagged a front row seat when the lights went out James' eyes were glued to the big screen--locked in on the magic. It was a very special Mary Poppins viewing that this crowd won't soon forget.

"It's just the sweetest thing all these people wanna spend the holiday moment with us and James. It's humbling," his mom said.
