Father continues search for son, missing one year from Marcus Hook
MARCUS HOOK, Pa. (WTXF) - What happened to David Horn Jr.? He was last seen at a bar in Marcus Hook Christmas 2017. His family continues to search for him and they have not given up hope.
Trudging through the thick woods of Delaware County, search volunteers look for 36-year-old David Horn Jr., last seen in Marcus Hook.
"Christmas isn't Christmas anymore. It isn't going to be Christmas until we find him," stated David Horn Sr.
It's Horn's third widespread search for his son. The team gathered at Trainer Borough Police headquarters for planning.
David was last seen on Christmas Day 2017, leaving Connolly's Pub in Marcus Hook, between 7 and 7:30 that night. David reportedly ordered an Uber, but it was later canceled.
"From that point on, we have no idea what happened to him. We don't know where he went," Horn Sr. explained.
The father says David did go through a divorce, but was always working hard for a good life.
"He started as a heating and air conditioning man and worked his way up the ladder into management. He didn't just up and leave. Something happened to him in Marcus Hook," Horn Sr. said.
"It's hard to believe that he is missing. I try to remain positive and hope that we do something or if he's somewhere alive," added his sister Renee Horn.
As hard as David's disappearance has been for his sister and father, the family is especially concerned about David's young son.
"Closure is a real thing and we need closure. If anybody needs closure, it's my son's 13-year-old son. My grandson," Horn Sr. said.
The family says anyone with any information regarding David Horn Jr. is asked to please give police a call.
