Fire damages classroom at Upper Perkiomen High School
PENNSBURG, Pa. (WTXF) - Firefighters battled a fire at Upper Perkiomen High School Saturday morning.
A fire broke out at the Montgomery County school about 10 a.m. April 28. According to the school's Facebook page, the fire started in a classroom.
Firefighters were able to place the fire under control before 12 p.m.
Two firefighters were transported to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries.
The high school will be closed April 30, due to fire damage.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
