Fire destroys abandoned house in North Philadelphia, say officials

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (WTXF) - An abandoned home in North Philadelphia went up in flames, according to officials.

Firefighters arrived at the vacant home on the 1400 block of North 7th Street around 6:30 p.m. Sunday, January 14.

Crews worked for a few hours to get the fire under control.

There were no reports of injuries. Investigators are looking into what could have started the blaze.
