Firefighter injured as Allentown fire crews battle four-alarm warehouse fire

Fire crews in Allentown are battling a four-alarm fire in a vacant warehouse.

According to authorities, the fire started around 6:15 Sunday evening at the vacant building on Franklin and Warren Streets. Crews worked steadily, but the fire raged out of control four hours after the first call.

A firefighter was transported to an area hospital to treat burns on the hands sustained while fighting the intense fire.

Witnesses at the scene recorded video of the blaze. The building could be seen consumed with fire and heavy smoke.
