'Firenado' sucks up hose during British Columbia wildfire
VANDERHOOF, British Columbia (WTXF) - Firefighters were tackling a 'firenado' when it usurped their hose in Vanderhoof, British Columbia, last month.
The firenado was born out of the Chutanli wildfire and pulled the firefighters' hose more than 100 feet into the air before melting it, according to the firefighters.
Firefighter MC Schidlowsky, who shared the video on Instagram, said the firenado reached more than 200 feet high.
