Florence Twp. police searching for armed man after shooting

FLORENCE TWP., N.J. - Florence police are searching for an armed man after a shooting injured another man Friday afternoon.

Around 1:43 p.m., Florence Township police responded to the 1000 Block of W Front Street for a shooting.

The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the arm. He did manage to drive himself to the hospital and has since been treated and released.

Police are looking for a black male wearing dark clothing and long pants with towel wrapped around his head.

Suspect should be considered armed and dangerous. No one is in custody.
