Gas prices down slightly recently, but a lot since last year

Drivers are seeing slightly lower prices at the pumps in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. In fact, that's the case nationally, too.

Gas Buddy reports the average price per gallon in Pennsylvania is $2.441. That's down 2.6 cents from last week, just 1.5 cents from last month, but 44.5 cents from last year.

In New Jersey, the average price of a gallon of regular gas is $2.108, down 1.1 cents from last week, 3.1 cents from last month, and 50.2 cents from last year, when drivers were paying $2.61.

In Delaware, the price is $2.175, down 2.6 cents in the past week, 6.9 cents in the past month, and 53.5 cents in the past year.

The national average price on Friday was $2.32, down 3 cents from last week. But that's still much lower than the national average from a year ago, when drivers were paying $2.78.
