The defending Super Bowl champs will start their season on Thursday night against the hated Dallas Cowboys at Lincoln Financial Field.

Philadelphia is ready for some football!

The Philadelphia skyline and other well-known spots around the city lit up in green on Tuesday night in anticipation of the Eagles season opener on Thursday.

City Hall, the Ben Franklin Bridge, and Boat House Row were illuminated with green lights. 

And, of course, the exterior lights outside Lincoln Financial Field were green.

What's next:

The Philadelphia Eagles will unveil their Super Bowl LIX banner before they start the season against the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday night.
