Gunman fires into donut shop, hits victim 3 times in groin

Police want to catch the man who ran up to a donut shop in Belmont and fired several shots inside the front door, hitting one victim three times.

They released surveillance video from outside Fresh & Tasty Donuts at about 7am Sunday.

It shows the gunman running up to the front door in the 4000 block of Lancaster Avenue and firing several shots.

Three of those bullets hit a 20-year-old man in the groin area. He was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.

The gunman got away in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as 45-50 years old, 5'8" tall, and weighing 180 lbs. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and armed with a handgun.
