Homeland Security Secretary Nielsen resigns

WASHINGTON (Fox 32 News) - Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen resigned Sunday.

She was replaced by Kevin McAleenan, the current U.S. Customs and Border Protection Commissioner.

The president tweeted that McAleenan will become the acting secretary.

"I have confidence that Kevin will do a great job!" Trump tweeted.
