Horrifying dashcam video: Hit-and-run driver strikes little boy

(FOXNEWSINSIDER) - Arizona police are asking for the public's help in tracking down the driver responsible for injuring an eight-year-old boy in a hit-and-run incident last week.

Tempe police say a dark gray Chevrolet car hit the boy right after he got off a city bus on the afternoon of March 2.

The boy, who suffered minor injuries, was violently knocked to the ground in the collision. The car, however, didn't stop and left the area.

Police say the driver has been described as a caucasian or Hispanic woman in her 20s and that it's believed there was a female passenger in the car.

Police released video of the incident, captured on the bus' dash cam, earlier this week, asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect's vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Tempe Police at 480-350-8311 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS (480-948-6377).
